David Mann
Central to the paintings by artist David Mann is the relationship between natural phenomena and the technological means of imaging it. Within Mann’s luminous abstractions, he constructs fantastical spaces that appear to hover simultaneously between the microscopic and cosmic. The technologies that allow us to visualize the natural world invisible to the human eye serve as inspiration for the forms that fill Mann’s canvases.
